Do you think this was the onset of today’s society, of the need for instant gratification and our desire for immediate results? If not did this begin with the rise of a different technology/innovation either before or after the introduction to video?
The onset of video art was largely due to the shift in museums acceptance and evaluation. Do you think that video art would have flourished as it did without the acceptance from museums?
